Job Summary

Do you have a passion for helping people look their best? We are looking for a licensed Assistant to join our team. As a Salon Assistant, you will work directly with stylists and customers. A salon assistant, or hair stylist assistant, helps a lead stylist with their daily tasks. Responsibilities and duties may include gathering supplies, mixing colors, shampooing hair, sterilizing tools, taking care of salon laundry and general cleaning of the salon.

In Salon training is provided.

Responsibilities

Assisting stylists with daily tasks.

Prepping clients for their services.

Washing clients hair.

Perform hair treatments, sculp massages etc.

Maintain equipment and inventory.

Maintaining salon cleanliness

Comply with all health and safety standards

Qualifications

Successful completion of a cosmetology school is required

In-depth knowledge of all aspects of cosmetology and best practices
