Responsibilities include guiding patients through crises, diagnosing psychological disorders, highlighting problematic patterns that need to be changed, improving communication, and assisting patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors. You must have current licensure as an LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist) and 1-3 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Responsibilities: • Utilize solution-focused therapy strategies to provide mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children • Collaborate with community organizations and attend weekly clinical team meetings • Document patient records accurately and thoroughly in accordance with facility and licensing standards • Conduct intake and needs assessment of individuals, significant others, and family members by testing, interviewing, observing, and holding discussion sessions • Engage in planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic treatment programs for each patient • Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with a variety of behavioral health concerns • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment goals and interventions • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Utilize evidence-based practices in clinical counseling and therapy techniques • Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with special education needs • Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to promote positive behavior change • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of mental health counseling • Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric clients Qualifications: • Must have 1-3 years of marriage and family therapy experience in a clinical setting • Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as outstanding communication and interpersonal skills • Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) or the equivalent is required • High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; master's degree preferred Experience: • Master's degree in Marital and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related field • State licensure or certification as a Clinical Therapist • Experience working with couples and families is strongly preferred • Strong understanding of family systems techniques and interventions • Experience with addictions and/or trauma-informed care a plus Compensation: $55,000 - $90,000 yearly
