About the Opportunity
Virginia Home Care Services is seeking an experienced Full Life Cycle Healthcare Recruiter to support our rapidly growing home health division. This role is responsible for high-volume recruiting and full-cycle talent acquisition, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain exceptional caregivers who provide compassionate care to our clients across Northern Virginia.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, results-driven, and experienced in healthcare, caregiver recruiting, and managing multiple openings simultaneously.
Position Overview
The Full Life Cycle Healthcare Recruiter will manage the entire recruitment process—from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding new hires. This role requires the ability to recruit at scale while maintaining quality hiring standards for positions such as CNA, HHA, PCA, and caregivers.
This position plays a critical role in supporting operational growth and maintaining a reliable workforce for home health services.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full life cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding caregivers.
Recruit for high-volume healthcare roles including CNA, HHA, PCA, and companion caregivers.
Develop and implement effective candidate sourcing strategies through job boards, social media, community outreach, and referrals.
Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
Maintain an organized applicant tracking system and ensure accurate candidate records.
Manage job postings, recruiting campaigns, and hiring events to support staffing needs.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified caregivers for immediate and future openings.
Ensure all candidates meet compliance, credentialing, and background requirements.
Partner closely with operations and scheduling teams to ensure timely placement of caregivers.
Qualifications
3 years of healthcare recruiting or staffing experience preferred
Experience with high-volume recruiting environments
Strong understanding of home health roles (CNA, HHA, PCA) REQUIRED
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple openings and deadlines simultaneously
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Experience with ATS systems and recruiting platforms
Proficiency with LinkedIn, Indeed, and healthcare recruiting tools
