The Sr. Technical Writer creates technical documentation and manuals, including online help screens, using a structured documentation methodology and framework. The purpose of this position is to explain complex information in a clear, concise manner to people with diverse professional backgrounds. 

This position works closely with engineering staff to manage the flow of information, especially during development and testing. Prepares and/or maintains documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation and user documentation where a wide degree of creativity and latitude is necessary.

The position requires a four-year degree or equivalent with knowledge in a specialized field such as engineering or computer science. Must have a minimum of five to eight years of work-related experience with an extensive knowledge in structured technical writing; web design experience is also helpful.
