Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Develops front-end and backend code for a cloud-based application supporting the Military Equipment Knowledge System (MEKS)
- Programming using ASP.NET, C#, and Angular or other languages
- Designs, develops, tests and implements software programs
- Analyzes user’s software program needs and assists in troubleshooting *
- Designs and develops software using basic compilers, assemblers, utility programs and operating systems
- May perform or assist in systems modeling, simulation and analysis.
- May advise hardware design engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems
- May provide input for documentation of new or existing programs

- Bachelor's degree in STEM field such as computer science, information technology, information science, computer engineering, software engineering, information systems management
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience
- Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, programs, spreadsheets, and database programs
- Experience across a full stack of software development technologies with proficiency of both front-end and back-end coding disciplines and software architectural principles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification (Security+ CE, SSCP, or equivalent) within 90 days of hire
- U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, JQuery, Bootstrap frameworks and libraries
- Experience with Github, SQL Server, Jira, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code tools and platforms
- Demonstrated experience with agile methodologies and version control best practices
- Knowledge of containerization principles
- Military background/experience is preferred, particularly familiarity with military equipment codes and terminology
- Current active DoD SECRET clearance with the ability to qualify for TS/SCI and completion of a CI Scope Polygraph
- Current, active DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification (Security+ CE, SSCP, or equivalent).
