Our client, a fast-growing telehealth startup, is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale a modern healthcare marketplace that makes it easier and more transparent for patients to access care.
In this role, you will work across the stack while collaborating closely with clinical and operations teams to understand real-world workflows and translate them into effective technical solutions. You'll also help integrate with complex healthcare systems, including EHRs, insurance platforms, and lab providers.
This is a high-ownership role within a fast-moving startup environment where engineers are expected to contribute beyond implementation and take an active role in shaping product direction.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain full-stack features, including pricing systems, appointment booking, and payments
Write clear product requirements and SQL queries to support analytics and data-driven decision-making
Own features end-to-end, including development, testing, and deployment
Partner with clinicians and operations teams to understand workflows and design practical solutions
Integrate with external healthcare systems such as EHRs, insurance platforms, and lab vendors
Work through ambiguous problems and contribute across multiple areas as needed in a startup environment
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a full-stack or frontend engineer
Experience working in fast-paced or early-stage environments with a high degree of ambiguity
Exposure to both frontend and backend development, or strong frontend experience with interest in expanding across the stack
Proficiency in at least one modern technology stack, with the ability to learn new tools quickly
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical decisions and tradeoffs
Demonstrated initiative or entrepreneurial mindset (e.g., side projects, early-stage work, product thinking) Interest in improving access to healthcare (prior healthcare experience is not required)
