    Role Summary

    We're looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer with strong TypeScript and React/Next.js experience to help build and maintain modern web applications for the eyecare industry. Reporting to the CTO, you'll collaborate closely with our small, engineering-led team to ship high-quality features, improve system architecture, and deliver reliable products that tens of thousands of eyecare professionals use every day.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Feature Development: Ship new features across multiple user-facing platforms (React/Next.js/TypeScript) while maintaining clean, scalable code.
    • Backend Contributions: Work on Django-based backend systems (Python, PostgreSQL), with a focus on APIs and data logic.
    • System Architecture: Help shape technical decisions that improve coherence and reliability across our ecosystem of production apps.
    • Product Iteration: Partner with the team to refine UI/UX, improve performance, and ensure a seamless experience for end users.
    • Tooling and Automation: Use AI-powered developer tools (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to accelerate workflow and reduce friction in the development process.

    Required Qualifications

    • 3–5 years of experience as a full-stack web developer, ideally shipping production applications.
    • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React (Next.js experience preferred).
    • A good eye for UI/UX details and willingness to collaborate on design polish.
    • Experience (or willingness) to contribute to Django backend codebases.
    • Comfortable working autonomously and owning problems end-to-end.
    • Strong communication and time management skills, especially in a remote setting.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with health tech, online education, or CE/CME platforms.
    • Experience with product analytics or internal dashboards.
    • Interest in developer tooling, automation, or AI-assisted workflows.

    Compensation and Benefits
