9:00 – 5:30 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES  Make approved R&D batches in preparation for manufacturing pilot batches  Create and maintain specifications for validation batches  Determine/adjust R&D batches to ensure Manufacturing Ready  Maintain validation retains  Maintain R&D books in accurate and neat condition  MFG batch adjustments when needed  Oversee all pilot batches (1 st time batches)  Update manufacturing instructions as needed  Maintain lab equipment – be proficient in use of all  Maintain stock of raw materials  Organize laboratory and keep lab clean and neat  Assist in any other aspect/capacity clerical, R&D lab, QC/QA when needed  Serve as back up to QA Technician  Responsible for any procedure updates to responsibilities performed  Any other duties as directed by supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS  BA/BS in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related science field  1+ years bench experience in cosmetic/personal care products  Basic knowledge/function of cosmetic ingredients(by INCI name)  Basic knowledge/function of mixing kettles  Basic knowledge of different mixing techniques as needed  Basic knowledge of stability program
