Job Description

Job Purpose: Support accounting department in daily tasks and ensures there is a clear understanding of the reports that summarize revenue and costs.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Costing analysis for daily production
• Margin analysis per plant and SKU
• Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analyzes and profitability
• Analyze product cost variances and report to Management
• Provide weekly and monthly reports that summarize revenue and costs
• Other duties as assigned

Consults with:

• Manufacturing Accounting Manager
• Kitchen and Cheese General Manager
• Kitchen and Cheese Managers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• Manufacturing production experience with minimum 2-4 years of related experience
• Experience in SAP Accounting system
• Experience in MRP Manufacturing system
• Food industry background preferred
• Ability to apply knowledge of GAAP & Cost Accounting Standards
• Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data
• Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products
• Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong sense of teamwork
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Able to adhere to strict deadlines

Computer Skills:

• Strong knowledge in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required.
• Functional knowledge of Warehouse Management System.

Reasoning Ability:

• Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
