About the Role:
Join The Goddard School of Simpsonville as a Full-Time Afternoon Teacher! In this exciting role, you will foster a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, helping them grow and develop through play and structured activities.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
Supervise and engage children in a safe and stimulating environment.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
Support social and emotional development through positive guidance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance overall educational experience.
Monitor and document children's progress and behavior.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
