Join Our Team as a Full Time Banquet Houseperson at Fairmont Olympic Hotel! The Banquet Houseman position entails physically setting up a function room based upon the Banquet Event Order. The position involves reading a BEO and determining which equipment is needed, understanding the design of the room, determining linen requirements and paper supplies necessary to completer the banquet event. The activities would include lifting up to 75 lbs. vacuuming carpets, polishing glass and mirror tops, delivering boxes of materials for clients, etc. This is a front of house, guest service position requiring above average communication skills to speak properly to guests and employees.
