Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Cotswold neighborhood of Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Family Assistant for their 2 boys, a 4-year-old, and a 2-year-old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (50 hrs).

The best nanny for this family would be dependable, punctual, playful, fun, engaging, and experienced in caring for multiple toddlers. The nanny will help the family ensure their children adhere to their daily schedules and routines while prioritizing safety. They are looking for a nanny who can creatively engage the children in activities that promote their individual goals and milestones. A background in early childhood education is a plus. Their children are very active and enjoy playing with toys, being read to, doing arts and crafts, playing outside, going on walks, and riding bikes. The nanny should actively participate in developmental activities and interact with the children on their level. Beginning in September, both children will attend preschool from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, with the youngest attending four days a week and the oldest five days a week. The nanny will be responsible for safely transporting them to and from preschool. The family seeks a nanny committed to supporting their children's growing needs and developmental achievements over the years.

The nanny should also be able to respect and support the parents' wishes regarding how the children should be cared for. It is important to the family that the nanny communicates well, can talk through anything related to the children’s care, as well as being open to any adjustments that need to be made, as the children grow older.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Going on walks and doing developmental activities

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

• drop off/pick up at school or summer camps

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep and cleaning up after meals, including breakfast, lunch, and occasionally dinner

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the nanny and the children throughout the day, including keeping the toys organized

• Emptying the diaper pail and stocking diapers

• Grocery shopping

Pets: The family has a cat, there will be no pet responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

• The Flu vaccine is preferred but not required

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts on July 1st

• Legal pay is offered at $28.00 - $30.00 negotiable depending on experience

• Continued pay while the family is away
