    Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in South Park in finding a Full-Time Family Assistant for their newborn and 5-year-old. The nanny would be needed Monday and Friday, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, and Tuesday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.

    Additional hours may be available by mutual agreement and will be paid at the applicable overtime rate when required. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work additional hours for school holidays, teacher workdays, daycare closures, and occasional sick days, with additional hours scheduled in advance whenever possible.

    This family is seeking an assistant who will focus on household support and house management, with additional assistance caring for their two children. The family has a spirited 5-year-old beginning kindergarten in August and a newborn who will begin daycare in late July. Both children will be in school/daycare for a full day. The schedule will include school and daycare drop-offs and pickups Tuesday through Thursday, and pickups only on Mondays and Fridays. During school hours, the Family Assistant will focus on household management responsibilities listed below to help keep the home clean, organized, and running efficiently.

    In the afternoons, on school holidays, and during school breaks, the Family Assistant will help keep the children active, engaged, and entertained through age-appropriate activities, outings, play, and creative engagement. The family is looking for someone energetic and nurturing who truly enjoys spending time with children while also being proactive and detail-oriented in managing a home. Mom works from home two days a week; the family assistant should be comfortable with this and respect proper work-from-home boundaries.

    Nanny Responsibilities Include:

    • Supporting the children’s daily routines, including feeding, bottles/solids, diapering, naps, school preparation, and transitions

    • School drop off and pick up

    • Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

    • Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

    • Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

    Household Duties Include:

    • Family’s laundry, including washing, folding, putting away, and changing the family’s sheets weekly

    • Family meal prep- packing school lunches, having bottles and solids prepared for the infant, and on occasion, preparing ingredients for family meals

    • Unloading/loading dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

    • Wiping down kitchen counters and keeping the kitchen tidy

    • Sanitizing toys and keeping children’s areas neat and organized

    • Emptying diaper trash, restocking diapers, and wipes

    • Ordering home essentials as needed

    • Establish and maintain organizational systems throughout the home

    • Package management

    • Grocery shopping

    • General errands

    • Schedule and take vehicles for routine maintenance

    • Manage service providers

    • Turn on the robot vacuum a few times a week

    Pets: The family has a calm and friendly 8-year-old large mixed breed dog. The Family Assistant would be asked to let him into the backyard throughout the day.

    Qualifications:

    • Have at least 3 years of professional Family Assistant experience

    • Have a college degree or equivalent experience

    • Have a professional resume

    • Fill out a complete online application

    • Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

    • Have a valid driver’s license

    • Have safe and reliable transportation

    • Have a minimum of three professional references

    • Be non-smoking/vaping

    • CPR and First Aid Certified

    • Must be able to swim (swimming is a plus)

    • Family Assistant should be fluent in English; Spanish or French is a plus

    • Must be up to date on vaccinations, including MMR, Covid-19 vaccine and booster, the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP prior to starting the position.

    Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

    • This position starts July 13th, 2026

    • Legal pay is offered at $28 - $30 an hour, depending on experience

    • Continued pay while the family is away
