The Goddard School – Chester Springs, PA

The Goddard School® of Chester Springs is hiring a full-time floater/ Resource Teacher to support classrooms across our school.

This is a flexible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety in their day, works well with a team, and genuinely enjoys being around young children. You’ll move between classrooms, support teachers, and help keep the day running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Support Lead and Assistant Teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities

Step into different classrooms as needed to maintain consistency and flow

Help prepare and organize classroom materials

Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities

Provide individual support to children to encourage engagement and inclusion

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment

Assist with daily routines and transitions throughout the day

Communicate professionally with team members and families

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma required

2 years working with children (babysitting included)

Someone dependable, flexible, and team-oriented

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A calm, patient, and nurturing approach with children

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
