Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Full-Time House Manager for their family of four, including a 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, with flexibility to adjust the schedule when needed.

The best House Manager for this family would be highly organized, proactive, and capable of anticipating the needs of a busy household. They should be able to demonstrate initiative and have a structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills to efficiently and confidently manage household responsibilities. The role requires a self-starter who can assess the family's daily needs upon arrival and proactively take care of those needs.

While the mother provides primary childcare and the children attend school, the House Manager's childcare duties will be limited to providing afternoon snacks as needed and occasionally assisting with transportation when the mother is unavailable. Flexibility is essential, as occasional last-minute assistance may be required.

Household Duties Include:

• Family Laundry

• Making beds and changing sheets weekly

• Grocery pick up and putting groceries away

• Run general errands

• Preparing after-school snacks for the children

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Schedule and oversee home maintenance and repairs

• Organize closets, pantry, refrigerator, etc.

• Facilitate seasonal decorating

• Schedule and transport their puppy to the groomers and vets

• Keep children’s rooms and play area tidy

• Provide transportation for children to and from school and activities on occasion when the mother is unavailable.

Pets: The family has a Bernedoodle puppy. The House Manager will be responsible for grooming and vet appointments, and daily walks.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• Legal pay is offered at $28-$30 an hour, depending on experience
