Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Montibello neighborhood of South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time House Manager for their family of three, including their 3-week-old son. The schedule will slightly fluctuate throughout the year, with a guarantee of 40 hours. It would be a bonus if the House Manager is available to work occasional Saturdays in place of Sundays.

Through Late June: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Sunday, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM; plus one date night per week

Late June – Late July: The Family Assistant will receive continued pay while the family is out of town, with the possibility of occasional home visits as needed

Late July – September: Four days per week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday, schedule to be determined) and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Starting in September: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday,

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The best House Manager for this family is mature, proactive, and can anticipate the needs of the household, approaching their role with a warm, sweet, and caring demeanor. Maintaining confidentiality, using discretion, and being willing to sign an NDA is required. Each day, the House Manager should take initiative and be able to thrive in a “divide and conquer” environment. This position would require the House Manager to work collaboratively with a stay-at-home mom to ensure the home runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include maintaining an organized, well-managed household and supporting daily routines with a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach. While the role is primarily focused on household management, there may be occasional, limited childcare responsibilities, such as keeping an eye on the baby while mom attends to other tasks.

Household Duties Include:

• Clean and sanitize bottles

• Family laundry

• Load and unload the dishwasher

• Keep the home organized and tidy

• Pick up after the baby

• Organize closets, pantry, linen closets, and refrigerator

• Receive and put up deliveries

• Help keep the household running smoothly and efficiently

• Manage incoming packages and deliveries

• Empty the diaper pail and restock wipes and diapers

• Maintain a running list of household essentials for replenishment

Pets: The family has 2 cats; the house manager will be asked to feed them on occasion.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional House Management experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations and TDAP prior to starting the position.
