Job Description:
Jackson Ridge Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced housekeeper to join our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a background in housekeeping. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping tasks such as dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
- Cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Dusting furniture, equipment, and cleaning windowsills.
- Cleaning/sanitizing toilets and sinks to ensure hygiene
- Cleaning floors, dusting common areas, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and orderly appearance of the facility.
- Emptying trash containers and disposing of waste according to established procedures.
- Following all safety procedures and infection control protocols and properly using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining adequate stock of necessary cleaning supplies, such as bathroom tissue and hand soap.
HOURS: 7:30am - 2:30pm, must be available to work some weekends.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, industrial cleaning, and janitorial practices.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exceptional communication skills to be able to talk with residents, staff, and families.
