Our Jupiter Island client is in need of a cheerful housekeeper with strong laundry skills and the desire and ability to do some light cooking.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in high-end homes, exhibit discretion and professionalism, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the residence. This role requires a proactive and meticulous individual who takes pride in their work, anticipates needs, and contributes to a smooth-running household environment.
Schedule:
During season:
Monday to Friday
8:30 am to 4:30 pm
The weeks of Easter and Christmas are required.
Off season offers greater flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of all interior spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas.
- Launder, iron, steam, and properly care for fine garments, linens, and fabrics.
- Maintain organization in closets, pantries, and storage areas.
- Handle delicate surfaces and specialty materials (marble, wood, antiques, crystal, silver, etc.) using proper cleaning techniques.
- Assist with household errands, grocery shopping, and inventory management of cleaning and household supplies.
- Support meal preparation or service when needed.
- Work collaboratively with other household staff to ensure seamless home operations.
- Follow household protocols, security procedures, and confidentiality standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in private estate or luxury residential housekeeping.
- Strong knowledge of fine home care, including the proper use of cleaning agents and care of specialty materials.
- High attention to detail with an eye for presentation and order.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain discretion.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Positive references from previous private employers.
