JOB SUMMARY:

We are in search for an experienced, dependable, and motivated kitchen employee to join our team full-time at The Pit and Peel at our James Center location. If you have solid background working in kitchens, a positive attitude, and are eager to learn and grow, this position could be a perfect fit for you.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:

Monday through Friday, 6:30AM - 3:30PM (Hours may fluctuate)

Competitive pay ranging from $15 to $20 per hour, based on experience

RESTAURANT MANAGER EXPECTATIONS:

Prepare food efficiently in a fast-paced, upbeat kitchen environment.

Follows recipes and instructions accurately.

Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.

Works closely with the team and accepts coaching to improve skills.

Ensure timely attendance and reliable transportation to and from work.

Managing BOH inventory and placing food orders.

Ensuring freshness and quality of product.

Maintaining and cleaning kitchen equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Several years of kitchen experience

Coachable and willing to learn new skills

Reliable transportation to and from work

Punctuality

Open availability required

Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift, including reaching for objects overhead

Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 40+ lb. occasionally, including lifting from ground to overhead
