Come join our award-winning team as a Maintenance Assistant Worker at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Orem. If you're friendly, and have a working knowledge of general handyman skills to include use of small tools, painting, simple electrical, etc., then we want to talk to you! This position is full-time. This job would be 5 days/week, some weekends may be included.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (lifting above the shoulder is also required).

Must be personable and be able to relate well to hotel guests and co-workers.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend and lift objects throughout an 8 hour day as needed and have overall good health.

Performance Expectations

Responds promptly to guests’ needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest.

Perform basic maintenance of the building, such as painting, simple electrical, simple plumbing, carpet cleaning, etc.

Have a good working knowledge of hand tools, and power tools is needed.

Other duties as directed by the Chief Engineer over maintenance.

Ensures the hotel provides a welcoming experience through a clean and well-maintained property.
