The Spine Institute is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring a positive experience for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assist healthcare providers by preparing patients for examinations and procedures, obtaining and recording medications, medical histories, and other relevant information.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Patient Education: Provide education and information to patients regarding their treatment plans and medications, as well as answer questions and address concerns as needed.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with both patients and staff, ensuring clear and accurate relaying of information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and electronic health record systems (Advanced MD is a plus!).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of work with professionalism and compassion.
