We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and experienced full-time nanny to care for our three children, ages 3, 6, and 8. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children, both at home and during their various activities. Our preference would be for someone looking for long-term employment.

Job Responsibilities:

Childcare: Provide attentive and loving care for the children, including preparing meals, assisting with homework, transportation to and from activities and engaging in age-appropriate activities

School and Activities: 3-5 days per week assist with school pick up and transportation to extracurricular activities, occasional need for assistance in the morning with getting dressed and transported to school

Household Duties: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the home, including light housekeeping, laundry (including folding and putting away), and general upkeep. Minimum once per week, mopping/vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, wiping down surfaces preferable on days when everyone is out of the house

Parental Support: Take full responsibility for the children during the parents' trips, which occur approximately six times a year. Potential for assistance with full family trips, all expenses paid with personal hours provided. This includes overnight care and managing the household, getting children to and from school in the parents' absence. One evening per 2-week period for date nights, One day per 2-week period on the weekend for day date activities. Occasional assistance on the weekends with getting the kids to sport activities when scheduled conflict. During the fall, babysitting for LSU home games.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a nanny or in a similar role, references appreciated

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Will include outlook calendar involvement

Ability to manage household duties efficiently

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Clean driving record

CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Background check required

Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

Schedule:

Full-time, with flexibility to accommodate the parents' travel schedule and the children's activities. Majority of hours during the week will be in the afternoon, evening as all of the children are at school during the day. In the summer, hours may differ depending on involvement in summer camp activities.
