Nanny Opportunity Location: Tierra Verde/St Pete Pay: $22–$24/hour, depending on experience A warm and easygoing family in Sarasota is seeking a nurturing, attentive, and calm nanny/ house manager to care for their infant and toddler. They are looking for someone who is gentle in nature, communicative, and committed to supporting their developmental milestones in a safe, loving environment. Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7 AM – 3 PM/ 5 PM Position Overview Families are seeking hands-on, nurturing nannies to provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants and young children in a home setting. Patience, flexibility, organization, and strong communication skills are essential for these roles, as families value consistency, reliability, and open communication. The ideal nanny will have strong experience with newborns and young children and be knowledgeable about early developmental milestones, routines, and age-appropriate engagement. Responsibilities: • Provide attentive care for an infant and toddler, including feeding, diapering, naps, and interactive play. • Engage in developmentally appropriate activities to support growth and learning. • Maintain a calm and positive presence that aligns with the family's gentle approach to parenting. • Keep the play area and common spaces tidy, cleaning up after playtime and meals. • During nap times, assist with baby-related tasks such as sanitizing bottles, cleaning baby dishes, tidying the play area, and doing/putting away the baby's laundry. • Communicate openly with parents and be receptive to feedback. • Practice safe hygiene, including consistent handwashing. • Comfortable spending time in the home's lanai or outdoor area; neighborhood walks may be introduced once trust is established. • Work respectfully alongside work-from-home parents and maintain professionalism. Qualifications: Ideal Candidate: • Has hands-on experience with infants and young children • Is energetic, dependable, and proactive in planning activities • Comfortable working in homes where parents may be present • Health-conscious and attentive to children's symptoms or behavioral changes • Willing to commit long-term Agency Requirements:3 years of professional childcare experience3 or more excellent, verifiable references (these cannot be from family and or friends) • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before start date) • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle • Ability to pass a comprehensive background checkNon-Smoker Compensation: $22 - $24 hourly
