Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Fort Mill, SC, in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 14-month-old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be proactive, creative, organized, reliable, and able to maintain a consistent routine that supports healthy habits and emotional development. Open communication is key, as it keeps the parents informed about daily routines, any concerns, and important developmental milestones. The nanny should be proactive in creating fun and educational activities to foster curiosity through educational experiences, such as reading, counting, and nature exploration. Their daughter enjoys reading, arts and crafts, imaginative play, and outdoor adventures. As trust is built, the nanny will be encouraged to take their daughter on outings throughout the community, such as story time, the library, playdates, and local parks. It is important that the nanny helps build emotional intelligence by listening, validating feelings, and modeling respectful behavior.

This family prioritizes a non-toxic lifestyle and asks that any scented products used be labeled non-toxic (free of phthalates, parabens, etc.). Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child(Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Meal prep, including the child’s lunch and snacks, and basic dinner prep for the family

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and the child throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail

Pets: The family has a long-haired chihuahua. The nanny would be asked to let the dog out during the day, when the parents aren’t home.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations. The COVID-19 vaccine and the annual Flu Vaccine are preferred

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• Legal pay is offered at $25.00 an hour, depending on experience
