Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 1-year-old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. (45 hours) The nanny should have the flexibility to occasionally come in early or stay late with advance notice.

The best nanny for this family would be loving, energetic, and patient, with a strong understanding of early childhood development. A consistent daytime schedule is important to the family, maintaining their daily routine and supporting developmentally appropriate changes as they come. The ideal candidate will be proactive in creating a safe, stimulating, and screen-free environment filled with age-appropriate, interactive activities that support developmental milestones. Their daughter enjoys crawling, exploring new textures, playing with soft toys, and listening to music. She responds well to movement-based play, sensory experiences, singing, and reading. Outdoor time is important to the family, including neighborhood walks and trips to the park. The nanny will also be encouraged to take her to local music classes, library programs, and other enriching activities to support socialization and learning. Mom works from home in a designated office, the nanny should be comfortable with this and respect proper work-from-home boundaries.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child(Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing the child’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep, healthy and nutritious meals, and snacks

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and the child throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, and Spanish is a plus

• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations. The COVID-19 vaccine and the annual Flu Vaccine are preferred but not required.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts on July 7th (working a few hours the week of June 30th to learn the routine)

• Legal pay is offered at $25-$28 an hour, depending on experience
