Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Wilmore neighborhood (South End), finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 3-month-old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with an alternating half-day or full-day off each week, dependent on mom’s work schedule (guaranteed pay of 40 hours each week).

The best nanny for this family would be loving, kind, compassionate, and engaging, with experience caring for infants. This nanny should create an engaging, developmentally supportive environment through activities such as reading, singing, tummy time, and daily strolls, while thoughtfully encouraging age-appropriate play. A strong understanding of developmental milestones is important, along with the ability to establish and maintain a daily routine. Because the child was born premature, the family is seeking a nanny who is mindful of health and hygiene, attentive to illness prevention, and comfortable taking extra precautions when needed. As the child grows, the nanny will plan enriching outings such as trips to the park, the library, story time, museums, and other appropriate community activities.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child(Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing the child’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading dishwasher

• Wiping down kitchen counters

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Emptying the diaper pail

Pets: The family has a Miniature Dachshund that needs to go out into their fenced backyard three times a day.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Nanny should be fluent in English; Spanish is a plus

• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations, the Covid-19 vaccine and booster, the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
