Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Dilworth in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 5-month-old twins. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00/6:00 pm (guaranteed 45 hours). The ideal candidate would have the flexibility to work additional hours when needed.

The best nanny for this family would be warm, patient, kind, nurturing, experienced in caring for infants, and experience caring for twins would be a plus. It is imperative that the nanny is punctual, reliable, and organized, as the family has very demanding schedules. This family is looking for a nanny with an understanding of age-appropriate milestones who will create a fun and engaging environment, fostering growth and development while keeping screen time limited.

Each day, the nanny should focus on activities such as tummy time, reading, singing, playing with age-appropriate toys, and going on strolls around the neighborhood. As the children grow, the family seeks a nanny who will take them on regular outings, including the park, library, and story time, to support socialization and engagement within the community. The ideal candidate should be confident in maintaining daily schedules and routines while supporting first-time parents. This is a great position for someone who is looking to grow alongside a family long-term. Mom and Dad may both work from home one day a week; the nanny should be comfortable with this.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (The family has a weekly cleaning service):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading dishwasher

• Wiping down kitchen counters

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Emptying the diaper pail

Pets: The family has a very calm hypoallergenic springerdoodle. The nanny would be asked to take him on walks with the girls a few times a week.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on TDAP prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• Legal pay is offered at an hourly rate of $27 - $30, depending on experience
