Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Dilworth in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 16-month-old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be responsible, hardworking, fun-loving, honest, organized, and creative, with a true passion for caring for young children. This nanny is proactive, able to anticipate the family’s needs, and enjoys collaborating closely with a work-from-home mom. A hands-on caregiver who loves getting on the floor to play, attending storytime, visiting the park, and engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities.

The role focuses on caring for an active toddler who enjoys walks, playing with toys, reading books, and being around other children through storytime, playgroups, and park outings. The home has multiple levels, including a designated play area on the third floor. A typical day includes playing at home, supporting a nap schedule (working to transition from two naps to one), and going on outings such as library visits, walks, and park trips. The nanny will provide lunch, support rest time, and continue with engaging play and learning activities throughout the afternoon. While the child is napping, the nanny should work on the child-related tasks listed below. This position is ideal for a nurturing, energetic nanny who thrives in a structured yet flexible routine and enjoys being an active part of a child’s day-to-day growth and development.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading dishwasher

• Wiping down kitchen counters

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Wiping down the stroller, high chair, and car seat as needed

• Picking up after the nanny and the child throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail

Pets:
The family has two huskies, which are very polite and patient with the baby. They also have one cat. The Nanny will have no pet responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• The Covid-19 vaccine, the annual Flu Vaccine, and RSV, preferred

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
