Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in East Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their Infant. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Friday, 35-40 hours per week.

The best nanny for this family will be caring, dependable, and experienced in caring for young children. The family is seeking a nanny who prioritizes the child’s safety and well-being. Throughout the day, the nanny should remain actively involved, fostering a positive, engaging environment that supports the child’s growth and development. Nanny to be fully engaged during the child’s waking hours, personal cell phone use and screen time should ideally be limited to nap time and other designated breaks throughout the day. Any experience with Montessori principles would be a plus. Typical daily activities may include playtime, reading, and other age-appropriate activities. Consistency and reliability are important, as well as maintaining clear and open communication with the family. Responsibilities will include supporting the child’s daily routine and, as they grow, introducing suitable activities and community outings.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and the child throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Up to date TDAP Vaccine

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• No smoking, vaping or recreational drug use

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts ASAP

• Legal pay is offered at $31-$33 an hour, depending on experience

• Continued pay while the family is away
