Full-Time Nanny in Eastover Neighborhood for a Two Year Old Boy and Newborn Girl
Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Eastover neighborhood of Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 2-year-old son and newborn daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Monday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, Thursday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. With flexibility to occasionally stay later, help on weekends, and possibly travel with the family a couple of times per year.
The best nanny for this family would be someone who is proactive, caring, dependable, organized, hard working, and loving. Flexibility and reliability are also essential to this family. It is important that the nanny is able to care for both children in the mom’s absence. Each day, the nanny should be able to manage their children’s established daily routines, be creative, and tailor the day to accommodate both the toddler’s and newborn’s needs.
Mom of the family is a stay-at-home mom and will be in and out of the home during the day. The primary care would be for their toddler son, and for both children when mom is away from the house. Their son loves to be outside and playing with his neighbor friends, as the family lives on a street with lots of children. Currently, he is in school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm. In the fall, their son will be in school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday half days, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (12:30 pm on Fridays). Mom will handle drop off and pick up. When he is in school, the nanny would be asked to proactively help with household tasks, such as organizing, while the child is in school, and occasionally help with caring for their daughter as requested. Their son loves playing in the front yard, walking down the street, going to the park, attending music class, doing arts and crafts, reading, playing outside, and playing with toys at home.
The nanny should foster an engaging and educational environment for each child while in the nanny’s care. As trust is built, the nanny may be asked to take the children on outings throughout the community, such as trips to the library, playgrounds, etc. The family asks that the nanny limit the kids' and their own screen time throughout the day. Longevity is important to the family, and they are looking for a nanny to be with their young family for the years to come, eventually becoming an extended member of the family.
Nanny Responsibilities Include:
Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):
Pets: The family has two Lab/Pitbull mix dogs, both 9 years old. There would be no heavy pet care responsibilities expected. If the nanny would be comfortable giving them treats occasionally, that would be appreciated. The dogs need to be put in a different room of the house if a repairman comes to the home. In the event the parents are not home, they have a lawn service that comes once a week, and the nanny would need to ensure the dogs are inside and the driveway gate is open for the lawn service. The family also asks that the nanny be vigilant and keep the driveway gate closed during the day so the dogs stay in the yard.
