Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 3-month-old. The nanny would typically be needed 4 days a week, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (40 hours). The schedule will vary based on the mom’s work schedule, with at least six weeks’ advance notice provided. The role requires flexibility to start later or stay later on occasion when the father is traveling, which occurs 3–5 times per month. There is also the possibility of occasional weekend shifts with advance notice.

The best nanny for this family would be reliable, friendly, easy-going, and experienced in caring for infants. This family values an open line of communication and is looking for a nanny to work in partnership with them, providing and receiving feedback with ease. The ideal candidate will be familiar with child development and have a strong focus on supporting developmental milestones through activities such as tummy time, hands-on learning, reading, singing, and strolls through the neighborhood. As the child grows, the role will include planning and taking him on outings throughout the community to encourage exploration and socialization. Familiarity with the “Taking Cara Babies” scheduling method is a plus, as the nanny will help create and maintain a consistent daytime routine. Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing the child’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep, including preparing bottles

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and the child throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail

Pets: The family had two dogs, a Snoodle and a Lagotto Romagnolo. The nanny may be asked to occasionally take them on walks.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience
