Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their two 1-year-old daughters. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. (34 hours)

The best nanny for this family would be warm, patient, reliable, and experienced in caring for multiple children. The ideal candidate will be a fluent Spanish speaker who will exclusively speak Spanish to the children. Each day, the nanny will facilitate their daughters' daily routines, including napping, feeding, changing, and playing. An engaging environment should be created to foster growth and development through fun and educational activities. Both girls enjoy singing songs, reading books, playing outside, and going on strolls. The nanny will be asked to take the children on age-appropriate outings, including playdates, swim class, My Gym, library visits, and story time. The family values a nurturing caregiver who is experienced with toddlers, understands developmental milestones, and can support the children through their various stages of growth. On occasion, one mom will work from home; the nanny should be comfortable with this.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the nanny and the children throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail

Pets: The family has two cats and a Whippet (dog); the nanny will have no pet responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English and Spanish

• Must be up to date on the annual Flu Vaccine

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts on October 6th

• Legal pay is offered at $27-$30 an hour, depending on experience
