Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in South Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 2-year-old son and 4-month-old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 8:30/9:00 am - 4:30/500 pm. It would be a plus if the nanny had flexibility to occasionally work additional hours in the evening or overnights when both parents travel.

The best nanny for this family would be proactive, self-motivated, and confident working independently. This family is seeking a high-energy, nurturing caregiver who will be deeply engaged with the children throughout the day. The ideal candidate will be experienced in caring for both infants and toddlers simultaneously and knowledgeable about developmental milestones. Comfort maintaining infant sleep and feeding schedules while keeping up with an active toddler is essential. Each day the nanny should foster a creative, educational, and engaging environment, both at home and out in the community.

Responsibilities include transporting the children to activities and classes, planning age-appropriate outings, and creating fun, educational activities at home that support early learning, such as teaching letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. It is important to the family that the nanny is a confident and safe driver. The family’s toddler attends preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00–12:50 and enjoys Music Together, Wild Roots, The Little Gym, library story time, parks, museums, and walks along the greenway. At home, he loves outdoor play, riding his bike, playing with trains, cars, and playdough, and assisting with everyday activities. He is active, curious, and sweet-natured. The newborn should be engaged in activities such as tummy time, singing, reading books, and playing with age-appropriate toys.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with potty training for the toddler and maintaining a calm, organized flow to the day. Mom works from home in a designated office, so comfort working alongside a work-from-home parent is important. This family is seeking someone reliable, organized, and genuinely passionate about childcare. They are ideally looking for a long-term placement, where the nanny will become an extension of the family.

    Nanny Responsibilities Include:

    • Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

    • Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

    • Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

    • Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

    • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the toddler and preparing bottles for the infant

    • Unloading/loading dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

    • Wiping down kitchen counters

    • Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

    • Cleaning up after themselves and the children throughout the day

    • Emptying the diaper pail and stocking diapers and wipes

Pets: The family has a five-year-old French Bulldog; the nanny will be asked to let him into the fenced-in backyard throughout the day.
