Full-Time Nanny in Uptown Charlotte for a 9-Month-Old
Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Uptown Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 9-month-old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. (32 hours)
The best nanny for this family would be conscientious, diligent, and engaging to care for their 9-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy spending time with children and be actively involved in their daily routines. The family values a nurturing environment with minimal screen time. A typical day includes feeding, strolls in the neighborhood, playtime, and the occasional age-appropriate video. With their daughter starting to crawl, the nanny should actively engage her in activities that nurture growth and support developmental milestones. The nanny will also assist with preparing and feeding meals as the baby transitions from purees to solid foods. They are looking for someone kind, attentive, communicative, and reliable, a true career nanny who will create a trusting relationship and grow with the family. Both parents work from home a few days a week, so a team-oriented approach and comfort working alongside them is important.
Nanny Responsibilities Include:
Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)
Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level
Playing with the child both inside and outside the home
Doing hands-on learning activities with the child
Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):
Child’s laundry and changing the child’s sheets weekly
Child’s meal prep
Unloading/loading the dishwasher
Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child
Picking up after the nanny and the child throughout the day
Emptying the diaper pail
Qualifications:
Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
Have a college degree or equivalent experience
Have a professional resume
Fill out a complete online application

Pass a national background check, including a driving record check
Have a valid driver’s license
Have safe and reliable transportation
Have a minimum of three professional references
Be non-smoking/vaping
CPR and First Aid Certified
Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations and TDAP prior to starting the position.
Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
This position starts August 18th
Legal pay is offered at $25-$28 an hour, negotiable depending on experience
