Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Weddington in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 1-month-old and 2-year-old (Primary care will be for the 1-month-old). From June until the end of July, the Nanny will be guaranteed 30 hours a week, Monday-Friday, worked within the hours of 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Starting in August, the Nanny will be guaranteed 32 hours, with the possibility of working 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 7/9:00 am - 4/5:00 pm. The schedule will fluctuate around mom’s work schedule and will be given 3-4 weeks in advance. It would be a plus if the Nanny were open to traveling domestically with the family.

The best nanny for this family is warm, dependable, professional, and experienced with both infants and toddlers. Primary care will be for the infant, as their 2-year-old attends daycare Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasional school pick-ups may be needed. A strong focus on safety and early childhood development is essential, with the nanny supporting the baby’s growth through milestone-based activities like tummy time, singing, reading, strolls, and age-appropriate play.

This role calls for someone who brings high energy, creativity, and a nurturing spirit while maintaining a calm and organized daily routine. On holidays and scheduled days off from daycare, the nanny will care for both children. The 2-year-old enjoys playground time, reading, learning letters and numbers, and art and craft projects. As trust is built, the family would love for the nanny to take the children on enriching outings within the community.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children(Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep, including preparing bottles and making homemade baby food, and occasional meal prep for their toddler

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher, and sanitizing bottles

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the nanny and the children throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail and stocking diapers and wipes

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• Must be able to swim, family has a pool

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations and the TDAP vaccine. The annual Flu Vaccine is preferred.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts June 23rd

• Legal pay is offered at $25-$28 an hour, depending on experience
