Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Strawberry Hill area of South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their two-year-old daughter, starting in January, for both children, as the family is expecting a baby girl in January.

The nanny would be needed Monday and Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm (40 hours guaranteed).

Starting in January: Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

The family is looking for a flexible nanny who can work slightly different hours as needed. They would also ask for the nanny to be available to travel with them a few times a year, or stay with the children while the parents travel.

Seeking the Best Nanny

The best nanny for this family would be kind, health-conscious, organized, and calm. Their daughter loves to be active and spends a lot of time at the park riding her bike, climbing, and exploring. She loves animals and nature and enjoys being outside as much as possible. Three days a week, she attends preschool; on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, the nanny will be responsible for picking her up from school at 12:00 pm and putting her down for her nap. Beginning in January, the nanny will care for both the toddler and the new baby throughout the day. Once the baby is here, the nanny should focus on caring for both children, engaging them in age-appropriate developmental activities, and fostering a nurturing and educational environment.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Provide engaging care with plenty of outdoor play, park visits, and nature exploration

• Pick up their daughter from preschool at 12:00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

• Follow the nap routine

• Care for the newborn as well beginning in January, including feedings, diapering, and sleep routines

Household Duties Include (Childcare is priority):

The family is open to hiring a Family Assistant; if a candidate is willing to assist with house Management tasks in addition to these child-related tasks.

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep, including helping with dinner, clearing plates, and wiping down counters

• Unloading/loading dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Emptying diaper trash

• Light tidying and ensuring the children’s areas are picked up at the end of the day

• Keep children’s spaces clean and organized

Pets: The family has two dogs, a Lab mix and a Bulldog. There are no responsibilities required for the dogs, outside of letting them out in the backyard to go potty.

Qualifications:

• Have more than 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Must be able to swim, as they have a pool in the backyard

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus, especially Spanish.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• Legal pay is offered at $30.00 an hour, depending on experience
