The Staff Physical Therapist Assistant assumes full-time clinical responsibilities in an assigned facility. This is a professional position with the primary responsibility of treatment of patients and direct patient care. Additional duties of an administrative nature are to be performed and as assigned.

Responsibilities

Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs

Follow a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals

Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress

Qualifications

Current state license for physical therapy assistant

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills

Good attention to detail

The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients
