About the Role:

Oak Park Temple is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Full-Time Receptionist & Database Manager to be the welcoming face of our community. This is a meaningful opportunity to support a vibrant congregation while keeping our operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, members, and staff in a warm and professional manner

Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries

Maintain and update the congregation's membership database with accuracy and confidentiality

Generate reports and pull data from the database to support staff and leadership needs

Manage office correspondence, scheduling, and administrative support tasks

Coordinate with staff on events, communications, and member outreach

Ensure front office operations are organized, efficient, and welcoming

Requirements:

Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or office management role

Proficiency in database management or CRM software; data entry experience required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive member information confidentially

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment

Genuine comfort and enthusiasm working within a faith-based community setting
