Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restorative Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and confident in assisting with a wide range of restorative procedures while ensuring patient comfort and clinical efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during restorative procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and implants
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Take digital X-rays and impressions
Fabricate temporary crowns and assist with lab cases
Ensure proper infection control and compliance with OSHA standards
Provide chairside support and anticipate the dentist’s needs
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental assistant, with a focus on restorative dentistry
Dental Assistant certification as required by MA state regulations
Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software
Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and materials
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organization
