    Duration: 2 Months

    Household: Family of 7 with multiple dietary needs

    A private family in Sarasota is seeking an experienced Temporary Chef to manage all daily meal preparation for a household of seven with several individualized diets, including Paleo/anti-inflammatory guidelines, gluten-free requirements, ingredient-specific rotations, and multiple food allergies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, meticulous with sourcing, and comfortable preparing meals from scratch with clean, organic ingredients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan diverse weekly menus accommodating multiple dietary profiles, ingredient rotations, and restrictions

    • Source and purchase organic, chemical-free, antibiotic-free, grass-fed, and wild-caught ingredients; avoid plastic and aluminum contact when required

    • Prepare breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, and pre-prepped weekend meals

    • Cook to specific preferences, including protein weights, vegetable selections, and doneness requirements

    • Manage strict allergy and restriction guidelines (e.g., no chicken, pork, salmon, crab, rice, dairy, soy, nuts, salt for certain family members; gluten-free for others)

    • Maintain ingredient rotation systems for proteins, vegetables, oils, herbs, and spices

    • Label, store, and organize all pantry, refrigerator, and freezer items using proper rotation methods

    • Maintain a clean, professional kitchen environment throughout the day

    • Coordinate with household staff when needed

    Qualifications:

    • Extensive background as a private or executive chef; strong knowledge of Paleo/anti-inflammatory cooking preferred

    • Experience managing complex dietary needs and multiple simultaneous meal plans

    • Strong sourcing, organization, and kitchen management skills

    • Professional, discreet, and able to work independently

    • Valid driver’s license
