A wonderful family in Yorktown Heights is seeking a long term, live out, part-time Nanny for their 1-year-old daughter. She radiates sweetness and joy and delights in learning new things. Requirements

At least 21 years old

Non-smoker/vaper

Pediatric CPR / First Aid certified

3+ years of relevant childcare experience including older infant/toddler experience

Up to date on vaccinations including flu, COVID and TDAP

Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle & clean driving record

Responsibilities

Managing the daily schedule and routine

Planning and engaging in developmentally appropriate and enriching activities

Getting outside

Preparing nutritious meals and snacks as needed for child

Light housekeeping including washing child's dishes and baby laundry

Keeping the nursery and common spaces neat, clean and organized (including tidying toys, putting away clothes and changing bedding, emptying diaper bin)

About the Family

This is a loving and caring household where the family prioritizes kindness and compassion. The parents are warm, respectful, thoughtful, creative, love to learn new things, and enjoy watching their daughter learn, laugh and grow. Mom works from home in a separate space, and Dad works from home 1-2x each week. The nanny will have autonomy throughout the day but should be comfortable with parents saying hi on occasion. There is a driveway so parking is available at the home, however on the job driving will likely not be needed.

Position Details

Location: Yorktown Heights, NY

Schedule: Flexible for the right fit suggested M-F: 8-4

Start Date:ASAP; the family is prioritizing finding the right fit so they are willing to be flexible

Hourly Rate: $32-37/hr BOE; taxes withheld
