Join Our Team as a Toddler Teacher
At The Goddard School of Hazlet, we know the toddler years are a time of incredible growth — where curiosity, exploration, and discovery happen every day. As part of our team, you’ll help nurture this important stage in a warm, supportive classroom environment where your experience and passion for early childhood education truly make a difference.
About You You are an experienced toddler educator who:
Has a strong professional background working with toddlers (ages 18 months–3 years), ideally with 2 or more years in a structured classroom setting
Brings formal training in Early Childhood Education or a related field (CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Is passionate about creating a safe, loving, and engaging space where young children can build early skills, develop independence, and form trusting relationships
Works well as part of a team, communicates clearly, and thrives in a positive, collaborative school culture
What You’ll Do As a Toddler Teacher at our school, you will:
Design and deliver playful, age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, physical, and language development
Create a safe and nurturing classroom where toddlers feel secure and excited to learn
Partner closely with families and colleagues to ensure strong communication and a shared focus on each child’s well-being
