    Harlem Family Services (HFS) is a non-profit Article 31 community mental health clinic providing culturally responsive, trauma‑informed psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. We are a mission-driven, community-rooted team committed to high-quality, accessible care.

    We are hiring LMSWs, LCSWs, LMHCs, LCATs, LMFTs, and related licensed professionals for full-time and part-time fee‑for‑service roles.

    What You’ll Do

    Provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy

    Conduct intakes, assessments, and Same‑Day Access sessions

    Deliver in‑person and telehealth services

    Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes) within required timelines

    Facilitate group therapy (strongly preferred)

    Conduct risk assessments and follow safety protocols

    Use evidence‑based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, TF‑CBT, etc.)

    Collaborate with psychiatrists, NPs, supervisors, schools, housing programs, and community partners

    Participate in weekly supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training

    What You Bring

    NYS license or permit (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT)

    Minimum of 2+ years of outpatient mental health experience

    Experience with evidence‑based interventions

    Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills

    Bilingual (English/Spanish/French or other languages) preferred

    Comfort working with diverse, multicultural communities

    Schedules

    Full-Time (35 hours/week)

    Hybrid: 60% onsite / 40% remote

    Two evening shifts and/or Saturdays preferred

    Children/adolescents must be seen in person

    Part-Time Fee‑For‑Service (12–20 hours/week)

    Hybrid options available

    After-school and Saturday availability strongly preferred

    Compensation & Benefits

    $40–$55 per hour, based on experience
