About the Role:

Harlem Family Services Inc. is seeking passionate Fee for Service Clinical Counselor who see children, families, and adults, to join our dynamic team in NYC. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients in need.

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.

Document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care and outcomes.

Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Facilitate crisis intervention and support as necessary.

Maintain a compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

Current and valid state licensure (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent).

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in client care.
