About the Role

As a Medical Assistant at Doral Health & Wellness, you’ll provide both clinical and front desk support to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent customer service. This role blends hands-on patient care with professional medical receptionist responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist patients with a friendly, professional attitude
• Manage front desk operations, check-in, scheduling, and insurance verification
• Maintain and update medical office records in the EMR system
• Perform basic clinical tasks: take vitals, record medical history, prepare patients for exams
• Support physicians by assisting during procedures and updating documentation
• Keep track of medical supplies and ensure equipment maintenance
• Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance
• Deliver exceptional customer service and teamwork across departments

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification required
• Prior medical receptionist or front desk experience preferred
• 2–3 years in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred
