    Full-time Opportunity: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (4 on, 2 off rotation) Part-Time Opportunity: Friday & Saturday | 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

    We are currently seeking an experienced Cook who enjoys preparing high-quality meals and working as part of a team. In this role, you will help create nutritious and delicious meals for our residents while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness.

    Responsibilities

    Prepare and cook meals according to cycle menus, production guides, and standardized recipes

    Cook in large quantities while maintaining food quality and presentation

    Ensure meals meet nutrition and portion standards

    Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures

    Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and properly clean equipment after use

    Label, date, and rotate food items according to policy

    Assist with inventory and preparation for upcoming meals

    Support food preparation and service for special events as needed

    Work collaboratively with the dining services team to meet meal schedules

    Qualifications

    2–3 years of cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, or institutional kitchen preferred

    Ability to cook from scratch and follow standardized recipes

    Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen

    Strong communication and organizational skills

    ServSafe certification preferred

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 90 lbs

    Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

    Ability to work in a warm kitchen environment and temperature changes (refrigerators/freezers)
