Fulton Academy of Science and Technology is seeking an AFTER-SCHOOL TEACHER.

About Us: Serving students in K-8, the mission of Fulton Academy of Science and Technology (FAST) is to provide an education based on innovation, design thinking and problem-solving with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to children in the Fulton County community. Fulton Academy of Science and Technology is a charter school in Roswell, GA. FAST’s goal is to prepare children in a way that provides them a foundation to be creative innovators and problem solvers so they are prepared for success and leadership in our rapidly changing world. By applying our background theme for academics, children will develop the foundations for learning and thinking that prepares them for success in post-secondary education and careers. Fulton Academy of Science and Technology is committed to:

• Teaching the skills and habits necessary for success in the areas of STEM
• Recruiting, training and retaining excellent teachers

AS AN AFTER-SCHOOL TEACHER YOU WILL:

• Maintain accurate attendance records and record pick up times for all students

• Keep walkie-talkies and rosters with you at all times and

• Be aware of the number of students assigned at all times

• Follow FAST emergency procedures

• Follow FAST COVID protocols

• Engage with student while supervising outdoor activities as well as indoor games, crafts, and other activities

• Facilitate MicroSociety groups on early release Friday's

• Create a positive educational climate for students to learn in

Requirements:

• A two or four year college degree

• Experience working with children ages 5-13

• License to work in the United States

• Ability to pass a security background check

• Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm; Friday 12:00 pm - 6:30 pm
