YOUR IMPACT:
The successful candidate will be skilled in graphic design, website management, social media management, photography (smartphone & digital camera), event planning, and public relations. This position will lead all of Fulton County REMC’s internal and external communications.
The Marketing and Communications Specialist will be responsible for providing the following:
- Planning and implementing projects around all aspects of marketing and communications including email and direct mail, website and social media content including outage information, bill inserts and advertisements, news releases, and written publications.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using data analytics and lead conversations.
- Assess digital marketing opportunities and implement according to the cooperative’s goals.
- Assist in coordinating Fulton County REMC’s outreach and community programs including the academic scholarship program, Indiana Electric Cooperatives Youth Programs, Fulton County 4-H and 4-H fair and various other community events.
- Assist with coordinating and implementing the annual business meeting of the membership including publishing legal notifications as required by corporate bylaws, produce meeting materials, advertisements, social media campaigns, video script, annual reports, candidate profiles, and member registration cards.
- Produce content and manage Fulton County REMC’s website and social media platforms.
- Represent and support Fulton County REMC’s programs within the community through attendance at community events, business functions, civic leadership roles, etc.
