    What You'll Do:

    The Global Supply Chain Logistics Specialist will play a vital role in developing and executing Function of Beauty's end-to-end retail and small parcel operations logistics, beginning with the shipment of raw ingredients and materials from the supplier base to the final customer. Reporting to the Senior Materials Manager, you will partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Sales teams to meet supply chain cost, quality, and service objectives within Logistics. 

         LOGISTICS STRATEGY

    • Define and execute the Global Logistics Supply Chain strategies and processes to ensure operational and service effectiveness throughout planning and execution
    • Create and monitor the bid process for freight forwarders and international service providers by analyzing all areas of the bids, providing insight, and making recommendations for approval.
    • Monitor, report, and improve cost controls, strategies, and performance across the domestic and international transportation network

         VENDOR RELATIONSHIP

    • Create, maintain, and grow relationships with third-party logistics carriers
    • Developing supplier resilience, agility, and innovation programs that deliver quality service in transportation to support providing the product to the customer on time and in full
    • Implement and monitor carrier and vendor performance expectations, and communicate and resolve low performance.

        LOGISTICS OPERATION

    • Responsible for end-to-end execution of all supply chain logistics activities.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for all supply logistics responsibilities, ensuring critical information is communicated to all internal and external stakeholders.
    • Identify delays, changes, concerns, or other transportation issues, escalate and support triage, and advise interested parties of status and recovery plans.
    • Facilitate global transportation requirements for import/export with cross-functional teams, including bookings for various modes of transportation, tracking and resolution of delays
    • Create and manage standard processes, policies, and procedures for Logistics

    Who You Are:

    • 3 - 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or procurement with a focus on logistics and/or transportation
    • 2 + years of experience as an individual contributor and subject matter expert within the supply chain team.
    • Strong command of the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills is necessary to interact with various internal and external partners.
    • Be a self-starter who can deliver results in a lean, agile organization and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Prior experience with 3PL relationship and vendor management, contract management, and contract negotiation skills 
    • A competent user of computerized IT Systems – Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and other associated scheduling, forecasting, and transportation software package
    • Experience in working within an ERP/MRP and environment
