Our company needs a creative and ambitious Process Engineer for a full-time position at our state-of-the-art facility. The Process Engineer will ensure the efficiency and efficacy of all processes and procedures, with the primary objective of improving and streamlining workflow.  The ideal candidate for this position is a team player and a motivated problem-solver with an inquiring mind, who can produce high-quality work under pressure. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Research, design, and develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow.

● Oversee operations and maintenance of facility processes.

● Create and develop new procedures and processes.

● Collect data for analysis to uncover areas for improvement and innovation.

● Analyze, evaluate, and test new and existing processes.

● Oversee the implementation of new processes and procedures.

● Examine existing processes and suggest improvements.

● Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations.

● Contribute to the development of health and safety standards.

● Manage the scale-up of new formulations from R&D to manufacturing.

● Communicate ideas and findings to management and colleagues.

● Assist teams in carrying out the implementation of the procedures you design.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Direct relevant experience in the manufacturing of consumer products. 
• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited university in engineering or related sub-field such as chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
• Master's or Ph.D. degree preferred.
• Have or be working toward engineering licensure as required by the state licensing board; pass any required licensing exams.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and with a team.
• Proficiency in computer and information technology.
• Specialized industry-specific training strongly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of scientific and mathematical principles.
